Please join us this Sunday 6/14/15 at 9:30PM, for an evening of good food, fine wines & whiskies, and music, in honor of Kollel Beir Yosef, which is a unique and rare organization led by HaRav Yisroel Yosef Kohen (the son of the Toldos Aaron Rebbe in Jerusalem)

The event will be at the JCC of Marine Park and will feature gourmet smorgasbord-style food, an open bar, and a kumzits with Yitzchak Fuchs.

Please come (and bring your friends!) to what will be an exceptional evening filled with gastronomical and spiritual delights.

Checks are not necessary (but are of course welcome).

The JCC is located at 3415 Quentin Rd Brooklyn, NY 11234, and the doors will be open from 9:30PM-11:30PM.

Kollel "BEIR YOSEF" starts the new Elul zman past Tuesday morning,  the Rosh Hakollel announced that there will be a new method in the learning in the kollel, "we hired a new Ruv that will give the tests and in the future give you avreichim a הוראה to be a diyan", B"h this new method picked up nicely and the avreichim are appreciating the method taken.

The Rosh Hakollel continues in his speech and says, "We are in Choidesh Elul, so many yidden need ,רפואות,ישועות, פרנסה who if not us Kollel yungerleit hold the world
אים אין קמח אין תורה, אים אין תורה אין קמח.....
We kollel yungerleit hold the pillar of the world, our koiach Hatorah is so big ..."
we are launching a new רצפות program which will be in effect throughout Choidesh Elul whoever will participate in the program will get a nice bonus on the monthly kollel salary, "This is just the קמח but the main thing is we should be busy with Torah and Tefllah this is why we live."

As every year when it comes to the summer zman there is in all yeshivos a 'Bain Hazmanim', most of the yeshivos don't have a specific schedule in that time especially in Israel,  Kollel Beir Yosef's branch "Chaburas Noiam Halevuvois" travels yearly with the Talmudim to Europe for approximately two full weeks, this gives parents a secure feeling that my son is at least in a good atmosphere and under the leadership of the Rosh Hakollel Rabbi kohn.

This year plans were made, including hotel bookings tickets etc., due to the situation in Israel and in Europe Rabonim in Israel ruled that this year there is 'NO Bain Hazmanim', nor everyone should stay by their gemora and keep on learning and davening to Hashem that war should stop.
A week before Tisha B'uv Rabbi Kohn received a phone call of the Gaved of Yerushalayim who guides the Rosh Hakollel with a close vision on the kollel, telling him not to take the Talmudim to Europe this year, "Klal Yisroel is in deep pain we have to feel along with them, we can not fly to Europe knowing that three million people are in shelters not knowing what the next minute will bring them", and the same advised the father of the Rosh Hakollel the grand Rebbe of Toldos Aharon and made a very clear statement that he does not agree that the Talmudim are traveling in such a situation.
So in regards to that the Rosh Hakollel announced in Kollel that he will be canceling the trip, and made a clear statement everyone should have in mind all our brothers and sisters who are sitting in such a panic every day and stated that the kollel will be saying extra Tehillim for them, "With our torah and tefllah we can push through and we ask Hashem should keep his right hand on us".

The Askunim of Chaburas "Noiam Halevuvois" started to plan the upcoming Europe trip this summer Were the Bucherim will be traveling together with the Rosh Hachabura for two full weeks.
